Join the Viking Sun as she travels the globe on a 160-night journey. The ship will take you from the Americas to Europe with stops in Australia, Asia, and the Middle East in between. Guests will have the opportunity to explore 33 countries spread across 6 continents including stops in destinations including Honolulu, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Barcelona, and more. Many port calls include overnight stays and extended days in port so that guests can experience each location to its full potential.

The journey begins in Miami where passengers will embark and spend time getting acquainted with the ship before arriving at the first destination: Santiago de Cuba. A short tour through the Caribbean Sea offers stops in Cienfuegos, Cartagena, and Colon. The ship will then make its way to the Panama Canal to traverse the loch system and sail on to Corinto and Puerto Quetzal on the other side. Travelers will then be treated to a call at Cabo San Lucas on the tip of Mexico's Baja Peninsula before sailing north to the coast of California. Indulge in the sites of San Diego, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, then sail away into the Pacific Ocean as the journey continues to Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.

A stop in Nawiliwili, then a full day in Honolulu are next, followed by a stretch at sea that leads to the snow-white beaches of Bora Bora. Spend the next day in in Opunohu, Moorea, then sail on to Papeete, Tahiti. Here the ship will cross the International Date Line toward the shores of New Zealand and Bay of Islands. Enjoy a two night stay in Auckland and explore all the city has to offer from fine wine tours to scenic nature walks. Continue on around the coast learning about the local Maori culture and admiring the sites in cities such as Wellington and Christchurch, then it's on to Australia with an overnight in Hobart and Sydney. Immerse yourself in the local history and tour the well known landmarks, and then sail on around Australia, stopping in places like Brisbane, Cairns, and Darwin along the way.

The journey continues on to Asia with visits to ports in Indonesia and Malaysia. Spend two nights exploring the seamless way east meets west in Hong Kong, then sail on to Vietnam and an overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Call next at Sihanoukville, Cambodia before spending a night in Bangkok, a city of well-preserved culture and floating markets. Enjoy a stop in Ko Samui, then wander the city of Sinapore and stay overnight. Another overnight stay, this time in Colombo, is next. From there it's on to India to call at Cochin and Goa before enjoying a two night stay in Mumbai with the chance to see the Gateway of India and the nearby Elephanta Caves.

The Viking Sun will then set out to the Middle East, stopping at a few destinations in Oman before sailing on to ports in Egypt and the Suez Canal. Enjoy a full day exploring Cairo via Port Said and be sure to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza by way of camel. Continue on through Jerusalem and Haifa, then it's on to Turkey with an overnight in Istanbul. Next up is Athens followed by an overnight in the floating city of Venice. Visit two ports in Croatia, then sail on through the Eastern Mediterranean, soaking up the history and stopping at destinations such as Corfu, Rome, and Monte Carlo along the way. Continue west to call at Marseille in France, then enjoy a small tour of the Spanish coast, including an overnight in Barcelona. From there, it's on to England where the journey will come to a close with calls to Portland, Dover, and finally an overnight call to Greenwich. Here, guests will disembark for the end of the cruise.
