Come aboard the Viking Sun for a 2019 World Cruise. This 127-night voyage will take you from Miami to London where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in each unique destination. The journey will span five continents, with stops in some of the most popular cities in the world, as well as many smaller ports and picturesque islands. Travelers will find plenty to discover with 44 different destinations waiting to be explored.

Embark from Miami. Spend a few days exploring and getting to know the ship, then sail in to your first destination at San Juan, Puerto Rico. Make port next in Grenada, followed by Iles du Salut, French Guiana. Continue on toward the coast of South America and call at Recife, Brazil. Next, make port in Salvador and Buzios before enjoying the first overnight call in Rio de Janeiro. Admire the colonial architecture as it interacts with the nearby skyscrapers, and walk to the top of Corcovado to see the "Christ the Redeemer" statue up close. From there, sail on down the coast to call at Montevideo. Next, call overnight in Buenos Aires and experience a capital city filled with Spanish, Italian, and French influences. Make port in Punta del Este, Uruguay followed by an overnight stay in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands.

The Viking Sun will then continue on to call at Ushuaia, Argentina. From there, cruise along through the Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan to make port in Punta Arenas, Chile. Sail through the Chilean Fjords and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness and picturesque villages. Continue on to call at Puerto Chacabuco and Puerto Montt Chile, then call overnight in Santiago (Valparaiso) for a chance to see the snowcapped Andean peaks and the city's diverse architecture. Call next at Robinson Crusoe Island, then sail into the Pacific Ocean to call at Easter Island.

Here the ship will sail out to the exotic Society Islands to make port in Papeete and Bora Bora. Sail across the International Dateline and on to the coast of New Zealand. Call at Bay of Islands, then make port overnight in Auckland. From there, call at Wellington, the capital city. Continue on through the Tasman Sea to make port in Sydney for a two night stay with ample opportunity to explore the local landmarks and beach hotspots. Sail on to make port in Hobart, Tasmania before calling at Melbourne for the day. Stop next in Adelaide and Albany, then call overnight in Perth.

Sail out across the Indian Ocean toward the coast of Africa. Call at Port Louis, Mauritius then spend the day exploring Madagascar. Call next at Maputo, Mozambique before enjoying a two night stay in Durban, South Africa where you can immerse yourself in the culture and spend time exploring the Durban Botanic Gardens. Continue on to make port in East London and Port Elizabeth. From there, call overnight in Cape Town where you can climb to the top of Table Mountain to admire the view or walk the streets of the city and enjoy the local cuisine. Next, call at Luderitz and Walvis Bay in Namibia before sailing up the coast.

Spend a few days sailing through the Atlantic Ocean, then make port in Dakar, Senegal. From there, call at Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands and taste some of the finest local wines. Continue on to call at Casablanca in Morocco, then sail on to spend the day in Vigo, Spain. Here you will have the chance to enjoy a few more days at sea before the Viking Sun sails in to call at London (Greenwich) where you will disembark for the end of the cruise.
