Join the Seven Seas Mariner for a journey around the world. Take the long way around as you sail from Miami to Barcelona and visit many destinations along the way. Sailing west, the voyage will take passengers through the Panama Canal to the islands of French Polynesia and on to the shores of the Mediterranean. Explore the ancient cities of Egypt, and tour well-known landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and the monoliths of Easter Island.
This 117-night voyage begins in Miami. As the ship sails out through the Caribbean, enjoy a few days at sea to get acquainted with the ship, then call at Antigua. Continue to call at destinations such as St. Lucia, Bonaire, and Aruba before sailing through the Panama Canal to explore the coast of South America. Spend two days exploring Ecuador between Manta and Guayaquil, then it's on to Salaverry and an overnight in Lima where you can take a journey out to see the ancient site at Machu Picchu. Make port in Pisco before sailing out into the Pacific Ocean toward Easter Island and its famous monoliths. Overnight on the island, then sail on to Tahiti.
Enjoy a full day exploring and relaxing in Papeete. Next up is Bora Bora, with its world famous multicolored lagoon, and Pago Pago. The ship will then continue on toward New Zealand for a tour of some well known and lesser known destinations. Call at Bay of Islands, then overnight in Auckland. Explore the pristine islands and go snorkeling to catch a glimpse of the unique marine life as you visit other cities such as Napier, Akaroa, and Dunedin. From there, you will take a trip through Milford Sound to the shores of Australia.
Call first at Burnie, then make port in Melbourne and Sydney. Be sure to take a boat tour to experience the Great Barrier Reef, or get up close and personal with life in the water via a snorkeling trip. Overnight in Brisbane, then it's on to Airlie Beach and Cairns. Spend a day at Thursday Island before calling at Darwin. The ship will then sail away from the Australian coast and make its way to Indonesia for an overnight stay in Bali, followed by a call to Surabaya. Here you will overnight in Singapore and experience the melting pot of cultures that make their home in this bustling metropolis.
The journey continues through Asia with port calls in Malaysia and Thailand. Sail through the Bay of Bengal to make port in Colombo, Sri Lanka before the ship makes its way to India to explore the lush greenery, enticing beaches, and seemingly endless cultural activities. Overnight in Mumbai, then sail to Oman and the United Arab Emirates. While most destinations here are set along the beach, Fujairah provides a break as it nearly fully seated in the Hajar Mountains. Sail on to call at Dubai for an overnight stay, then make port in Salalah before continuing on to Aqaba, Jordan. Overnight in Luxor (Safaga), then cruise through the Suez Canal to reach the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the "land of miracles" with an overnight stay in Haifa indulge in the local cuisine from fresh fish to grilled lamb. Make port in Limassol, Cypress next, then it's on to Greece.
As you sail through the ancient waters of the Mediterranean, admire the ancient architecture and history of sites like Rhodes and Lesbos. Overnight in Istanbul, then sail on to Bozcaada and Ephesus. Return to the shores of Greece to call at Santorini, then continue on to Amalfi in Italy. Walk through the Barberini Gardens in Rome, then call at Florence, one of the most influential centers of Renaissance art. Next up is a full day in Monte Carlo, followed by a visit to Marseille where you can wander through the Old Quarter or step into one of the lively sidewalk cafes. After leaving Marseille, it's on to the final destination of Barcelona, where passengers will disembark for the end of the cruise.
