Join the Island Princess for the adventure of a lifetime. This 111-night debut world cruise will take you to new shores and popular destinations on a roundtrip journey from Fort Lauderdale. As you sail across the globe to visit ports on six continents, the ship will take you to more than 20 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the historic cities of Ephesus and Rabat, as well as sites like the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy more time in port with late-night departures and overnight stays in places such as Auckland, Dubai, and Venice.
They journey begins in Fort Lauderdale. Sail to Cartagena, Colombia before sailing through the Panama Canal to call at ports in Central America. Kick back on the white sand beaches of San Juan del Sur and walk cobblestone streets to the markets in Puerto Vallarta, then sail north to call at Los Angeles. From there, and extended stay in Honolulu provides time to visit Pearl Harbor or go surfing at Waikiki Beach. Call next at Kona, then the ship will sail out toward the Society Islands.
Spend a full day exploring Papeete, then relax in the tropical paradise of Bora Bora. Visit a few more Island destinations, then sail on to New Zealand. Walk in the footsteps of Captain Cook, explore Maori legends, and explore the wine country with visits to cities including Auckland, Picton, and Wellington. A tour of Australia begins with a full day in Sydney, followed by Brisbane, Airlie Beach, and Yorkeys Knob. Be sure to visit the Great Barrier Reef, then continue on to Darwin for a taste of the Outback.
Next up is the mysterious island of Bali and a full day in Singapore. Stunning landscapes and rich histories can be found at Langkawi and Phuket, then it’s on to Colombo in Sri Lanka. The Island Princess will then sail on to the Middle East where you will enjoy your first overnight stay in the city of Dubai. The city’s glittering skyscrapers and traditional souks act as a bridge between eastern and western culture. Call next at Muscat in Oman, then it’s on to a full day in Jordan for renowned diving opportunities and rich trade history. Sail through the Suez Canal, then make port in the ancient cities of Jerusalem and Ephesus as you sail on to the Mediterranean.
Legends await you on the shores of Gythion, then it’s on to the floating city of Venice for an overnight stay. Explore the canals on a gondola or wander through St. Mark’s Square before returning to the sea to sailing on to your next destination. Continue through the Mediterranean to visit destinations such as Koper, Kotor, Valletta, and Catania. Walk among pieces from some of the world’s greatest artists and architects with a visit to Rome. Enjoy a visit to the charming seaside city of Monte Carlo, followed by a full day in Barcelona. Malaga is next, then a call to Casablanca, a modernized city with glimpses of cobbled alleys, minarets, and souks.
