Sail away with Oceania's Insignia for a 2021 world cruise. This 164-night voyage will take passengers on an adventure around the globe from Los Angeles to New York, and explore many fascinating destinations along the way. With opportunities to sail through Asia, explore the Mediterranean, and tour Northern Europe, this journey offers something for everyone to enjoy. Multiple overnight stays, and many full days in port allow travelers to truly explore the local culture of each destination, and immerse themselves in unique experiences waiting to be discovered.

Embark in Los Angeles, and spend a few days getting acquainted with the ship as you set out across the Pacific toward the Hawaiian Islands. Make port in Nawiliwili, then explore Honolulu and visit the volcanoes of Hilo. Continue on to the exotic Pacific Islands to call at destinations such as Nuku Hiva, Tahiti, and Pago Pago. Be sure to take a swim with the manta rays with an overnight stay in Bora Bora. The ship will then cross the International Date Line to reach the shores of New Zealand where travelers can experience some of the world's best diving and learn about Maori culture. Next up, spend the day exploring the highlights of Sydney in Australia, followed by a call to Brisbane and an overnight in Cairns. Enjoy a few more days exploring the wilderness of the outback, then it's on to Asia.

Encounter real-life dragons in Indonesia, then sail on to Borneo in Malaysia. A visit to Taiwan offers passengers the chance to visit many historic sites. From there, make port in Okinawa and explore Ryukyu village, full of local heritage and crafts. Journey on to the shores of China for an overnight stay in Hong Kong, then continue on to Vietnam to overnight in Ho Chi Minh City at Saigon. An overnight in Bangkok provides travelers with the opportunity to surround themselves with the golden temples and buildings around the area, as well as take a visit to the Emerald Buddha. Call next at Ko Samui, and then make an overnight call in Singapore, a city of diversity and contrast.

As the ship continues through Asia, enjoy stops in destinations including Malaysia, Myanmar, and India. Overnight calls in Rangoon and Mumbai offer tours of unique architecture, 7th century rock temples, and hand-crafted items from local markets. Upon leaving Asia, the Insignia will make its way to the Middle East. Overnight in the glittering city of Dubai, then continue on to experience renowned snorkeling opportunities, a tour of the Sultan's palace, and a visit to the coconut plantations. From there, spend a full day exploring Aqaba, Jordan before making port overnight in Luxor at Safaga. Transit the Suez Canal, then it's on to Haifa. Visits to many destinations in Greece offers travelers the opportunity to immerse themselves in ancient mythology as well as explore popular modern and historic sites. Overnight in Istanbul, a city astride two continents, and explore the Blue Mosque or go shopping at the Grand Bazaar.

Continue on through the Mediterranean to visit destinations such as Taormina, Sorrento, and Saint Tropez. Spend a full day exploring Rome, overnight in the floating city of Venice, then sail on to a tour of Spain. Enjoy an overnight stay in Lisbon, Portugal as the Insignia makes its way around the coast to head north. Call at Oporto and La Coruna, then it's on to an overnight in Bordeaux where you can sample the famous wines of the area and admire the ornate French buildings. Continue on to the British Isles to visit destinations such as London, Dublin and Belfast before journeying farther north to Iceland.

Here the ship will sail around the northern coast of Iceland including a day in Reykjavik, then it's on to Greenland with a call o Nuuk and Qaqortoq. Sail through the Gulf of St. Lawrence as you make your way to Sydney and Halifax in Nova Scotia. Take in the hospitality of Canada and explore the local historic sites, then sail on to visit Maine before making port in Boston for a full day to explore well known landmarks like the Paul Revere House, as well as modern additions including a skywalk observatory in the Prudential tower. As you sail away from Massachusetts, enjoy one last day at sea before the ship makes port in New York where you will disembark for the end of the world cruise.
