Come aboard the MSC Magnifica for a 2020 World Cruise. This 116-night voyage will take you around the world from Genoa, Italy to visit exotic destinations and encounter unique cultures across the globe. Passengers will have the opportunity to explore 43 destinations in 23 different countries such as Argentina, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, India, and more.
Embark from Genoa, Italy to begin the cruise. Call first in Marseille, France then sail on to make port in Barcelona, Spain for the day. Next, call at Lisbon before continuing along the coast of Portugal to make port in Funchal. From there, sail out to Mindelo, Cape Verde before setting out across the Atlantic Ocean.
The ship will then call at Salvador, Brazil. Sail on to Rio de Janeiro for the first overnight stay of the voyage. Upon leaving Rio de Janeiro, call at Buenos Aires in Argentina for another overnight stay followed by a call to Montevideo, Uruguay. Continue on along the coast of Argentina to call at Puerto Madryn. From there, make port overnight in Ushuaia, Argentina before sailing on to spend the day in Punta Arenas, Chile. Call next at Puerto Montt, then call overnight in Valparaiso. Enjoy a day at port in Arica, Chile, then enjoy an overnight stay in Lima (Callao), Peru.
Sail out into the Pacific Ocean to make port at Easter Island. Spend a few days at sea, then call overnight at Papeete, Tahiti. From there, make port in Rarotonga and Aitutaki Atoll in the Cook Islands. Continue on to New Zealand and enjoy a full day in Auckland. Make port in Tauranga and Napier, then sail on to Wellington. Cruise through Milford Sound before continuing on to Hobart, Tasmania. From there, call at Sydney, Australia followed by a day in Wollongong (Port Kembla). Take a break from the Australian coastline to call at Ile des Pines and Noumea in New Caledonia, then head back to make port in Cairns, Australia. Spend the day in Alotau (Milne Bay), Papua New Guinea followed by a call to Doini Island. Enjoy an evening in Darwin, Australia, then sail out away from the coast to Indonesia.
Here the ship will call at Komodo, Indonesia before making port overnight in Benoa, Bali. Sail on to call at Singapore, then spend the day in Kuala Lumpur (Port Kelang), Myanmar. Call next at Colombo, Sri Lanka. From there, make port overnight in Bombay (Mumbai), India. Continue on toward the Middle East to call at Salalah, Oman. Enjoy a few days at sea, then the ship will make port in Petra (Aqaba), Jordan for a day. Spend two days cruising through the Suez Canal, then sail across the Mediterranean to make port in the ancient city of Rome, Italy. Upon leaving Rome, the ship will return to Genoa where passengers will disembark for the end of the cruise.
