Come aboard the CMV Columbus and enjoy 121 nights exploring the world by sea. This 2021 world cruise visits five continents and stops in 38 port calls spread between 24 countries. Along the way you will sail through the Panama Canal, explore the sights in the South Pacific, and visit the world's most remote inhabited island. From natural wonders to soaring sky scrapers, there are views and experiences to be enjoyed by all on this sailing.

Embark on your roundtrip journey from Rotterdam. Get acquainted with the ship as you sail on to Portugal to visit Oporto and Ponta Delgada, then the Columbus will set out across the Atlantic toward Caribbean waters. As you get closer to the Panama Canal, take time to relax on the beaches and take in the local delicacies at destinations including Barbados and Cartagena, Colombia.

Marvel at the lock system as you transit the canal, then relax and enjoy the amenities onboard as you sail out across the ocean toward the South Pacific. French Polynesia offers picturesque views of waterfalls and rolling valleys with calls in Nuku Hiva and Bora Bora. An overnight in Papeete allows guests to further explore the natural wonders of the island and get better acquainted with the local culture. Call next at Rarotonga, and then it's across the International Date Line to spend a full day relaxing on the white beaches of Nuku'alofa.

The Columbus will then sail on to New Zealand, followed quickly by an overnight stay in Sydney where you'll pass under the famous Harbour Bridge and have plenty of time to catch a glimpse of the Opera House. Continue around the island and explore the Great Barrier Reef as you sail along to Airlie Beach and Yorkeys Knob. Get a taste of the Outback with a visit to Darwin, then the ship will sail on to Indonesia and a full day in Singapore. Visit a few destinations in Malaysia to see an elephant sanctuary, enjoy the local foods, and explore some of the many beautiful temples and mosques found in the area. From there, the journey continues to Colombo in Sri Lanka and the lively city of Male in the Maldives.

Next, you will head south through the Indian Ocean toward the coast of Africa. A visit to Seychelles offers unique animal sightings and plenty of places for the nature lover to wander. Overnight in Mombasa and visit Tsavo National Park, the largest protected area in Kenya. After taking in your fill of rhinos and lions, sail on to South Africa to visit destinations such as Durban and East London. Here you will call at Cape Town for an overnight stay where you can take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain or stroll through the botanical gardens.

The ship will then sail out away from Africa and call at Tristan da Cunha. A visit to this island offers travelers the chance to experience the castaway island feel, as it is one of the most remote inhabited islands in the world. Next up, enjoy a full day in Rio de Janeiro exploring its famous beaches and landmarks like Christ the Redeemer at the top of the Corcovado. Continue on up the coast to call at Salvador and Recife and further explore Brazilian culture. The Columbus will then return back to the Atlantic Ocean and cross all the way to Mindelo in Cape Verde. Enjoy a day in exotic Casablanca, then sail on to call at Lisbon in Portugal. London is up next. Stroll along the river Thames and visit St. Catherine's Church. From there, the ship will make a quick call to Antwerp, Belgium before returning to Rotterdam where guests will disembark for the end of the cruise.
