The Columbus offers another spectacular itinerary for this 2019 World Cruise. The 120-night voyage will take you round trip from Amsterdam to dozens of exotic and enchanting destinations around the world, including ports in Polynesia, Australia/New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East. From island paradise to bustling city, there is something for everyone along the way. Enjoy several day-long port calls to immerse yourself in the culture and environment of each destination.

Set sail from Amsterdam, Holland. Spend a few days at sea getting to know the ship before calling in Ponta Delgada, Portugal. Enjoy leisurely days at sea while sailing across the Atlantic Ocean to the islands of the Caribbean. Call for a full day each in Barbados and Aruba, then sail on to the Panama Canal. Call in Cristobal before making a full transit of the canal. Upon reaching the other side, the Columbus will sail out across the Pacific to French Polynesia.

Tahiti and French Polynesia offer some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world, with crystal blue water and lush greenery. Your first call in Polynesia is at Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands. Next, make port for your overnight stay in Papeete where lovers of art and history will find themselves at home in the Gauguin Museum. Continue on to call at the tropical paradise of Bora Bora. Cross the International Dateline as the ship makes its way to the shores of New Zealand. Cruise into Auckland, the "City of Sails" and the largest city in New Zealand. Be treated to several more cities in New Zealand, such as Tauranga and Picton, before moving on to the Land Down Under-- Australia. Spend a day each in Sydney, Hamilton Island and Yorkey’s Knob. After a call in Papua New Guinea, cruise on to Asia.

Your time in Asia allows you to visit some of the largest capital cities on the continent. See how the modern complements the traditional and discover the rich cultures of the region. Enjoy visits to Tokyo and Kagoshima in Japan, Beijing and Shanghai in China, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in Vietnam, and Ko Samui and Bangkok in Thailand. Visit Singapore and several ports in Malaysia before sailing on to India and the Middle East.

Cochin is your first stop in India, before visiting the diverse city of Bombay. Next, you’ll visit ancient cities of the Middle East. See camels roaming the country side in Salalah, Oman, experience Egyptian architectural treasures in Luxor, and then explore the temples and tombs of Petra, Jordan. Cruise on the great Suez Canal, then visit the holy city of Jerusalem. As the ship begins the journey back home, delight in visits to the Mediterranean cities of Valletta, Gibraltar, and Lisbon. Spend more relaxing days at sea before stopping in London and returning to Amsterdam.
