Tahitian Princess, formerly Renaissance's R4, was introduced to Princess' fleet on August 9, 2002. This ship offers large cabins, cozy spaces, and a gracious Old World atmosphere. Passengers can opt for traditional dining, or take advantage of one of the alternative dining venues; Sabatini's, Sterling Steakhouse, or the 24-hour buffet restaurant. The spa features massages, facials, mud baths, aromatherapy, a thalassotherapy pool and other innovative treatments. Settle down with a good book in the library, with its richly upholstered sofas and chairs, fireplace and hardwood paneling. On-board entertainment ranges from ballroom to disco dancing, and there's a casino. After dinner, passengers can enjoy performances by comedians, magicians and singers in the main show lounge. With over two thirds of the ship's cabins having balconies and with a variety of dining and entertainment options, the Tahitian Princess delivers on Princess' trademark "big ship choice" in a smaller, more intimate cruise environment.
