Cruisers who want to board a ship in the Los Angeles area have two departure port options, with facilities at San Pedro and at Long Beach. These cruise terminals are just a few miles apart.

Cruises to Mexico's Pacific Coast leave from both ports year-round. From San Pedro, you also can board ships bound for the Hawaiian islands or for the Panama Canal; cruises to both regions depart fall through spring.

Both ports are approximately two hours from San Diego, CA, and four hours from Las Vegas, NV. San Francisco, CA, and Phoenix, AZ, are about a six-hour drive away

The World Cruise Center at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California is approximately 18 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Parking is $12.00 per day (rates are subject to change by Port Authority).

From LAX: Travel southbound on the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405), then southbound on the Harbor Freeway (Interstate 110). Exit at Harbor Boulevard and proceed straight through the Harbor Boulevard intersection. Turn right to enter the World Cruise Center.

The Long Beach Cruise Terminal is located 23 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. Parking is available at a rate of $12.00 per day in the parking garage.

From the North - Take 405 South to 710 South. The 710 Freeway ends at the Long Beach Port Facility. Follow the directional signs to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal.

From the South - Take I-5 North to 405 North. Take the 710 Freeway south until it ends at the Long Beach Port Facility. Follow the directional signs to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal.
