From there, the voyage continues across the international date line to sample the unique natural beauty of New Zealand and Australia. After a circuit that includes ports like Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and even Tasmania, the Indian Ocean awaits.

This cruise visits a stunning array of locales in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam. Each new port offers its own rich cultural flavor, along with fabulous coastal sightseeing. The journey continues with stops in Sri Lanka and India before venturing into the heart of the ocean. Witness rare glimpses of the Maldives on the way to Mauritius and Madagascar.

In the tradition of famous explorers, the Silver Whisper makes its way around the southern shores of Africa, then up the continent's western coast. Several stops in South Africa crown this leg of the voyage, which also includes visits to Mozambique, Namibia, Ghana and Gambia.

One final ocean crossing remains, as the Silver Whisper sails the Atlantic for home. The crossing begins with a visit to Cape Verde, where a long history of trade and exploration has created a rich blend of African and European cultures. Several nights on the high seas culminate in the ship's arrival at Barbados. From there the sailing continues to Dominica, and then to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. The long and thrilling voyage comes to a close in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
